Hi, We need your help for a Kicstarter project
Tales of the good, the bad and the ugly is an anthology created by my friend me and my sister . We all three worked in the video game industry and thrive on the visual art of storytelling. They, just like me, are passionate creators and in October, we will be attending our first convention here in Québec City. This was what instigated this Kickstarter campaign. We wanted to each have a book to sell, so instead we decided to put all our story ideas together in one dynamite book that we would like to print and sell over there and to you, if you pledge.
here a little summary of the three story
The first story revolves around Bluebeard, based on the famous French folktale created by Charles Perrault. It's the story of a nobleman who was in the habit of murdering his wives. the story goes back in the past to a moment when Bluebeard was younger and more of a naive character.
The second story is a retelling of an HP Lovecraft story, "The Unnamable". This one is called "House of the Unnamable", and it follows a character by the name of Randolph Carter who specializes in investigating cases of the weird and sometimes horrifying. He is called to investigate a house which witnesses say has a creature that apparently lurks around its premises. This short story is a prequel to a graphic novel that I am working on right now called "The strange world of Randolph Carter" which I aim to release sometime next year. It's a labor of love and I just could not resist exploring the Lovecraft universe. Think of Randolph Carter as a mix of Constantine and Indiana Jones.
The third story is about a little boy who discovers that the pond where he goes to have his daily swims may not be as private as he thinks. He then makes an amazing discovery.
The money will allow us to pay for the printing of the book, enough copies to go to the convention and start selling our product. It will pay for the prints and shipping for anyone in Canada or US. The money will allow us to put the book out there, to the people who pledge and to the folks who we will meet face to face.
Thanks for taking the time to watch this presentation, and thank you for your generous pledges for the book.
